Begoña Soler studied English and Communication at Baruch College and Performing Arts with a specialty in Theater at the HB Studio School, both in Manhattan (NY) where she lived for seven years. On her return to Spain she continues her training as an actress and director studying with Jordan Bayne, (Method of Susan Batson) and Graham Dixon (Method of Michael Chekhov) and is currently studying Module III of the Sanford Meisner Technique in True Acting Studio of Valencia. He studied Cinematographic Direction and Screenplay at NUCINE and Screenplay with Paco López Barrio.
She has written and directed four short films. Among them, “La Buena Fe”, which has received more than twenty awards (including Best Spanish Short at the 2015 SEMINCI) and was pre-selected for the 2016 Goya Awards. She has also directed a music video for the singer and composer Moritz. She is the Tv series’ creator, and writter and director of the pilot episode, of “I love Spain”.
She has participated as a jury of the Valencia International Medium-length Film Festival (La Cabina), also of the HUMANS FEST(EDAV Award), and of the L’Eliana Short Film Festival. And She is jury president of the Alacant Film Festival (Sant Joan). She has been one of the mentors in the first edition of the Cinema Jove’s Youth residence.
She has worked for five years as a teacher at the NUCINE film school. She currently teaches Directing actors and Acting for Directors and works as an Actor’s coach, meanwhile She is developing her next audiovisual projects.
David Macián. Author of several multi-award-winning shorts films, David Macián made his feature film debut with the film LA MANO INVISIBLE, which was presented and cheered at such well-known festivals as Sevilla, San Sebastián, Valladolid, Toulouse, Thessaloniki and Tarragona, and was awarded with several awards in some of them. Currently David has just released ZERO, a new short film.
Mila Luengo, 1987. Bachelor Degree in Audiovisual Communication at the Valencia University, she started her professional career in 2007. Since then she has been a member of Direction and Production departments in many projects in Cinema, Television and Advertising.
Recently She has worked as head of production and locations, her latest work was the series “La Forastera” for À punt Mèdia.
In addition two years ago She founded her own production company, Wicker Films, with which She has produced the short films “Un Domingo cualquiera” and “Distintos”.
Nacho Ruipérez. Bachelor Degree in Audiovisual Communication at the Polytechnic School of Gandia and MBA in digital postproduction for film and TV, whilst studying Drama, Music and then finally the Ibero-American Master’s degree on Scriptwriting at the UIMP. He has done all types of artwork for film and TV, collaborated in the conceptual make-up desing for films such as “PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN IV” or “RED LIGHTS” and worked on set for films like “EL HOMBRE DE LAS MARIPOSAS”. During 2008 he directed the TV programme “TELEGRAFIES”. His short film “URSULA’S VICTORY” was pre-selected for the Goya Awards in 2011. His first feature film as a director came from Navarre Production Company Cronopia Films and was entitled “BLUE LIPS”, which will premiere at this year’s SEMINCI of Valladolid. This film was made between 6 directors from different countries. As an Artistic Director, he was able to showcase his work in films like “LUCAS” directed by Álex Montoya (Goya nomination for Best Short), “LA BUENA FE” by Begoña Soler, or “EL AMOR NO ES LO QUE ERA” by Gabi Ochoa (pre-selected for Best Art Direction at 2014 Goya awards ).His last job as shortfilm director has been “LA ROPAVEJERA”.
Today he combines her work as a teacher in schools like ESCUELA DEL ACTOR, LABORATORIO DE GUIONISTAS VA, ANIMATION MASTER’S DEGREE UPV… with the graphics department at the forefront of the VIRTUAL ART study, where he is directing advertising and graphic design projects. Just he received the CulturArts screenplay aid for writing an animated feature film entitled “CUCA AND THE NEW WORLD” and he’s preparing what will be his second feature film as director, “THE UNEARTH”, starring Leonardo Sbaraglia and distribution by Filmax Company.
Alejandra Mora is a producer and director from Valencia. Bachelor Degree in Audiovisual Communication and MBA in Multimedia Content, she completes her training with various workshops with prestigious filmmakers. She develops her professional career in many Valencian companies. She is a co-founder of Quatre Films. She has produced the short film “Lucrecia” by Eva Marín, selected in the CURTS 2016 catalog, with more than 50 national and international selections. The short film “El infierno y tal” by Enrique Buleo, pending release. She is in pre-production of the short film “La casa de Coto”, by the Valencian filmmaker Guillermo Alcalá Santaella, Sponsored by the IVC. She has worked as an executive producer on Carles Bosch’s documentary film “Petitet, rumba pa ti”, produced by Lastor Media. She Produced the documentary film “Persia on air” directed by Javier Tolentino, patronized by the IVC. She Directed and produced the documentary “God underestimated me” with the IVC help for script and development. She also produced the documentary “La edad del olvido” by Rolando Díaz, a co-production between Spain, the Dominican Republic and Cuba.
She is co-founder of the Valencia International Film and Human Rights Festival, Humans Fest, where she worked as Artistic and Technical Director for the VI and VII edition. She has been a member until 2017 of the HRFN, Human Rights Film Network, collaborating in the selection and programming of documentaries in different festivals. She has worked as a teacher in the Experimental Cinema with Mobiles Workshop, Cinemóvil and Story finders, taught by L.M. Kit Carson (screenwriter of Paris Texas) and Chumilla Carbajosa. She has also taught film creation workshops with disadvantaged groups and in penitentiary institutions. She is a member of the DOCMA Documentary Film Association. She also belongs to the EWA, European Women Association.
Alberto Evangelio. Director, Producer and Screenwriter specialized in genre films, awarded more than 100 times with his short films, which have gone through more than 500 international festivals, such as CLERMONT-FERRAND, PIFAN or SITGES. His music clips have more than 100 million views on the Internet. He has worked with artists like Abraham Mateo, Robe (Extremoduro), Elephants, Soraya, Edurne, Lali, and with brands such as Coca-Cola and Sony Music. Currently He is developing the feature film DESCONECTADA, selected in the 5th SGAE Foundation Script Laboratory (directed by Isabel Coixet). He is also preparing his first thriller feature film as a director: VISITANTE, patronized by the IVC, and shortly He will direct the tv series DIUMENGE PAELLA for À Punt.
